What Kind if Help is Available?
If you are in an abusive relationship you can get help for a number of place in Edmonton. The Today Centre is one of these and aims to help all affected family members.
If you are in Edmonton, please call The Today Centre at 780-455-6880 and ask to speak to a Resource Worker. Whether you decide to leave or stay in the relationship our Resource Worker can provide emotional support as well as help you:
- understand the cycle of violence and the impact on you and your family
- with safety planning
- identify your rights
- learn about the court system & connect you with someone who can go to court with you
- connect with the programs and service you require
