*Important: prerequisite to this workshop:
Introduction to Safety Planning Workshop or Equivalent--our Family Violence Educator will contact participants prior to the workshop to ensure familiarity with background concepts, including the following:
types of abuse and cycle of violence
power dynamics and coercive control tactics
family violence stereotypes and misconceptions
barriers to leaving or accessing supports
the role of stigma, shame and guilt
effective responses to family violence
