REAL Talk: Break the Cycle of Violence

People want to help but aren’t sure how. Let’s change that.

This free workshop is part of our award-winning Keep It REAL campaign which gives informal supporters the tools and language to disrupt the cycles of violence.

REAL Talk workshops offered by Sagesse & The Today Centre, are a guide to help us understand and talk about family violence. Learning how to talk about domestic violence doesn’t have to be fancy or complicated. REAL Talk is just a real moment between two people; it isn’t about trying to fix things, it’s about empowering change and bringing people together.

REAL Talk is about:

Recognizing domestic violence

Empathizing with the person impacted by the violence

Asking them what they need, and

Listening without judgment
